DESCRIPTION
We'll spend the day focusing on issues related to off-duty officers carrying concealed weapons. In addition to considerations unique to the profession, we will discuss a variety of carry methods, accessing and drawing the handgun, and accurately engaging threat(s). Please bring your concealed carry equipment, and I will have other options available, too.
TOPICS COVERED
In addition to safety considerations, this course focuses on the breadth of considerations related to concealed carry for the off-duty officer. It covers on- and off-body options, off-duty legal and practical considerations, and accessing your concealed firearm as you carry it.
EXPECTATIONS AND OUTCOMES
In addition to the dictum that concealed carry means concealed, you will try multiple carry methods. You will be able to draw from concealment before engaging targets and threats.
